After de breakfast, we visit the richly decorated Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest religious buildings in the world after the mosque in Mecca; it would comfortably fit Rome’s St Peter’s inside.
The statistics are staggering: it is over 200 meters long, 100 meters wide, 65 meters wide, has the tallest Minaret in the world at 210 meters and can accommodate 25,000 worshippers, plus an impossible to imagine 80,000 outside. 35,000 master craftsmen labored night and day to create this exquisite masterpiece. You enter through one of the huge bronze or titanium doors decorated with traditional inscriptions, but the real draw is inside. Onyx columns, marble of every imaginable shade, intricate stucco work, a remarkable carved cedar roof, huge expenses of elaborate ceramics combine with fine metalwork and flamboyant Venetian glassware to create at once a harmonious and yet astonishing Moroccan architectural masterpiece.
After we visit Mohammed V place, United Nations place, the prefecture, central post office and the courthouse inspired by Moorish architecture.
Art lovers can admire the architecture and many Art Deco facades with a stroll along the Mohammed V avenue and boulevard 11 January and visit the Museum of the Villa des Arts.
Visit the Corniche, which was developed in the 20s. It is home to beaches, swimming pools, cafes and other entertainment venues.
Visit to the medina on foot and the district Habous that have kept their authenticity.
Visit the villa des arts: you will be impressed by its beautiful garden. The oldest private museum of the city, the villa retains a rich collection of over 800 works.
Visit to the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart : housed in the middle of the park of the Arab League , the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart has a structure of Gothic art and art deco mix .
Visit to the Clock Tower: informing of the time to all passers-by with its 20 meters high, the clock tower of Casablanca was built in the early 20th century by Dessigny commander.
