LANGUAGES

Arabic and French are official languages but English, Spanish and German are widely spoken.

CLIMATES

Variable across regions and landforms: Mediterranean on the North, Atlantic on the west, the desert on the South and continental in the interior. Rain irregular decrease considerably from North to South and from West to East. Snow can remain several weeks between 1000 and 2000 meters. Beyond 2000 meters, it is present from 6 to 9 months per year. In the center of the deep south, there are significant differences between temperatures during day and night.

VISAS

All visitors require a passport. Citizens of the UK, EU, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand do not need visas. 

HEALTH - HYGIENE

No compulsory vaccinations. The water is drinkable in cities. 

CURRENCY

Dirham. 1 MAD : to obtain USD devid by 8.10 - Euro by 10.50 (Exchange rate can change arrivail date) The import and export of the dirham is prohibited. 

BANK - EXCHANGE

Exchange offices are held in hotels, airports and banks. It is possible to change traveler's checks. Credit cards are accepted in most hotels and shops. The Banks are open daily from 8:30 am to 3:45 p.m. except on Saturdays and Sundays.

It is customary to bargain purchases, especially for acquiring artisanal products of great diversity.
